See a Taylor Swift tribute, a legend reimagined and comedy gold at the James Lumber Center this fall
The James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts (JLC) at College of Lake County offers entertainment from a wide range of musical genres. The 2025-2026 fall Marquee Series continues that tradition bringing powerhouse bluegrass, Latin music, tribute artists, comedy and the return of a holiday family favorite to its stage.
“Once people come to the JLC, they tend to come back. That’s because the performances stay with you,” said Alisa Baum, JLC executive director. “This season, I can’t wait for The Special Consensus, Ballet 5:8’s La Llorona and Nella. They’re all so different, bluegrass, a ballet and a Latin GRAMMY® winner, and each brings a genuine connection with the audience. That’s what makes our series special.”
