Registration is open now for fall courses beginning Aug. 18.

At College of Lake County (CLC) this fall, you’ll find a vibrant, supportive community that’s ready to help you thrive. Whether you're starting a new journey, making a career change or finishing what you started, we’re here to help with flexible courses, real-world opportunities and personal guidance each step of the way. Registration is open now for classes beginning Aug. 18.

CLC offers options for everyone's unique goals with more than 70 academic programs. No matter if you're looking to transfer, start a new career or learn a skilled trade, you’ll find a program for your interests where you will learn from the college’s expert faculty, many who have previously worked or are still working in their field.

Flexible course options give you a chance to take classes during the time that works best. The college offers in-person, online and hybrid courses so students can learn on their own time.

Tuition is already affordable at CLC, but you can save even more with scholarships and financial aid. The CLC Foundation distributes more than $1 million in student scholarships annually.

Walk-in FAFSA and alternative application workshops are available at all campuses this summer. Let our experts guide you through the process and help you understand your options.

  • 2 p.m. Aug. 6, Lakeshore Campus, Room S208, 34 N Sheridan Rd., Waukegan
  • 10 a.m. Aug. 8, Grayslake Campus, Room C122, 19351 W. Washington St.
  • 2 p.m. Aug. 13, Grayslake Campus, Room C122, 19351 W. Washington St.
  • 4 p.m. Aug. 21, Southlake Campus, Room V234,1120 South Milwaukee Ave., Vernon Hills
  • 2 p.m. Aug. 27, Lakeshore Campus, Room S208, 34 N Sheridan Rd., Waukegan

Workshops are also available online. Email fa.facoach@clcillinois.edu with preferred dates and times to schedule an appointment. The Welcome and One Stop Center will also be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, Aug. 9, 16 and 23 to assist students as the semester begins.

CLC has an abundance of student resources available designed to support students’ educational, health, financial and life needs.

CLC offers more than college-level courses. You can take adult education classes as preparation to earn your Illinois high school diploma. The college also offers English as a second language courses. Both programs are free of charge.
